These are photographs taken in 1942 and 1943 of Al Schwarz, husband to one of my narrators, Jane Schwarz. Some of these pictures were taken while Al was on furlough visiting family and friends in Staten Island, Brooklyn and Long Island, NY. These photographs provide insight into life on the home front.
